J C Baughman, 75, of Muskogee passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Muskogee. J C was born in Indio, California on November 11, 1945 the son of Wilburn Baughman and Julia Baughman.
J C lived in Muskogee for over 30 years. He was employed as a Roofer for many years and owned his own roofing company. He enjoyed watching the western channel when the NFL wasn't being broadcast. He would frequent the Muskogee, Fort Gibson, and Checotah Casinos. J C had a great sense of humor. He was very generous and was always there to do whatever it took to help make a difference in someone's life. J C was a good man.
Survivors include: sister Beverly; his girlfriend of 14 years Betty with her 6 grandchildren, 2 daughters and 1 son; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. J C was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Sharon, Delores and Laura.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 22, 2021 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee with Justin Kinman officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Stephen Wiedler, Kamal Nassar, Corby Motart, Charley Lossie, Brian Burrows, Junior Riggs. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
