Nancy (Andrews) Battenfield was born November 1, 1934 in Gore, OK the daughter of Roy Franklin and Flora Hattie (Edwards) Andrews. She passed from this life on January 15, 2021. She was 86.

She was married to Tommy H. Battenfield on May 16, 1953 in Okmulgee, OK and the couple made their home in Muskogee. They would have been married for 68 years this coming May.
A very selfless person, everything Nancy did was to support her husband and children. She was always a great support to Tommy and his antique cars. Nancy was the peacemaker of the family, without a harsh word about anyone. Her family remembers her as having a great sense of humor. Nancy enjoyed puzzles and games and going to swap meets. She attended Crescent Valley Baptist Church and later Lawrence Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband Tommy, of the home; two children, Kim Jimison and husband Dean of Fort Gibson and Mike Battenfield and wife Robyn of Siloam Springs, AR; nine grandchildren, Ame Gullett and husband Don, Heather Anderson and husband Lincoln, Dustie Morgan, Lacey Quinteros, Chelsea Walston and husband Tommy, Taryn Jimison, Emily Tatum, and husband Nathan, Savana Battenfield and Jacob Jimison; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters Terri King and Lisa Morgan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home with Rev. Adrian Totty officiating. Interment will be at South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs under the care and direction of Lescher- Millsap Funeral Home. Viewing will be on Monday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Lincoln Anderson, Don Gullett, Nathan Tatum, Landon Lane, Jacob Jimison and Dylan O’Conner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ted Battenfield, Dean Jimison, Craig Morgan, Christian Nolen, Derrick Keith, Warren Keith, Kirby Keath and Tim Andrews.
