Donita Pauline McFarland was born September 5th, 1968 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Melvin McFarland and Margie McFarland (Colston). She passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was 52.
Donita was a great mother. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was super cheerful, very funny, and would light up a room while living life to the fullest.
Donita is survived by three sons; Jarrod Barrera and wife, Trisha of Muskogee, Curtis Richard Ware and Nicholas Ware, both of Gainesville, Indiana, daughter, Starla Goad and husband, Steven, of Muskogee, six grandchildren, five sisters; Alice Spann of Livingston, Texas, Helen Dameron and husband, Lester, of Vian, Gladys McGarrah and husband, Willis, of Wetumka, Bertha Kent and husband, Wally, of Gore, Ruby McFarland of Muskogee, two brothers; Clarence McFarland of Muskogee, Earnest McFarland and wife, Mary, of Paris, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Dustin Fields, two sisters, Brenda Winstead, Joan Morris, and brother, Donald McFarland, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, January 15th, 2021 at Lescher Millsap Funeral Home 2801 Chandler Road Muskogee, OK 74435 with Pastor Jason Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Muskogee on Monday, January 18th, 2021 under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Viewing will be Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 Lescher Millsap Funeral Home 2801 Chandler Road Muskogee, OK 74435 from 10:00 am 8:00 pm.
