Dewey Edward Clark Jr. (Eddie) was born on May 29 1959 the son to Dewey Edward Clark Sr. and Helen Faye Clark in Lodi, CA. He was the youngest of 8 children. Shortly after birth, Eddie’s family moved to Oklahoma where he remained throughout his life. During his childhood, Eddie enjoyed riding horses, playing in creeks and spending time with his siblings. He had a Shetland pony that he loved dearly. At the age of 14 he landed his first job at KFC. where his love for chicken began.

Also, at the age of 14 he met the love of his life Susan Applegate. They were sweethearts throughout their childhood. In 1981 they had their first child Whitney Clark. Shortly after they got married on September 4th. They had two more children Kaley Clark and Alvie Clark. Eddie worked hard all of his life and had numerous jobs. His favorite of all was Incor, where he made his career working as a Program Coordinator. He retired from Incor with health issues in 2005. He spent his retirement taking care of his grandchildren who he loved with all of his heart. Eddie's favorite things to do were camping, going to the River, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren, children and the rest of his family and friends. He will greatly be missed by many.
Survivors include wife Susan Clark; children: Whitney Williams and husband Les of Warner, OK; Kaley White and husband Antonio of Muskogee; Alvie Clark and wife Julie of Haskell; grandchildren: Chloe, Braxton, Jolee, Levi, Colt, Keeara, Malachi, Jayden, Lauren, Noah and A. J.; siblings: Troy Joe Clark of Muskogee; Kenneth Clark of Ft. Gibson and Frances Driggers of Naples, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Harold Clark, Janice Bernhardt, Rodney Clark and Raymond Clark.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Oasis Community Church 800 W. Peak Blvd. Muskogee, OK 74401 with Pastor Rodney Mattox officiating. Interment will follow at Starnes Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
