Carolyn loved this world for its majesty. From coast to coast. Sea to shining sea, and all the mountains in between. Carolyn would camp and just soak in the great outdoors. She was particularly fond of the Gulf Coast where she would water ski from time to time. Carolyn was an animal lover. She would often volunteer at the local zoo so she could spend time with the big cats. Carolyn could bake and bake she did. She decorated cakes and created her own Southern comfort food recipes. While baking you might hear her listening to 1950’s Pop, Southern Gospel, but more than likely Classic Country. She was also an avid sports fan, cheering on the Denver Broncos and Avalanche with a passion. Carolyn looked for ways to help her local community by serving in public office for the city of Federal Heights, Colorado. Carolyn worked for the Department of Defense in the Defense Finance and Account Service for many years as a Sr. Waivers and Remissions claims Adjuster.
Carolyn is survived by her children; Kimberly, Mike and Chad, mother, Martha, and brother, Robert.
A private family service will be held to honor the life of Carolyn Scharf at a later date.
