Clifford Leroy Knerr Jr., Fort Gibson resident passed from this life on December 10, 2019 in Muskogee. He was 87.

Born September 14, 1932 in Pennsylvania he was the son of Clifford and Roberta (Lynn) Knerr Sr. He was an honorably discharged US Navy veteran. On July 30, 1955 Clifford was married to Wanda Lee Bandy in Quartzite, AZ.
Clifford worked for many years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He enjoyed woodworking, through the years making many pieces of furniture and toys for his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed writing poetry, reading westerns, collecting model cars and watching baseball.
Surviving are his daughter Rebecca Goodwin and husband Clint of Fort Gibson; grandchildren C.J. Goodwin and wife Kaytlyn, Kelli Nettles and husband Dustin and Kimber Baucher and husband Nathaniel; great grandchildren, Sadie, Kristyn, Heidi and Dylan; sisters Roberta Crabb, Elaine Bandy, Patricia Stanifer and Paulette Marcy and brother Ronald Knerr. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wanda and one sister Ethel Lowman.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday December 13, 2019 at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
