Ruthie Joyce Tipken, age 82, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on November 26th, 1936 to Marie Ingram and Dave Stephens, she passed from this life on Friday, November 15th, 2019 at Baptist Health in Fort Smith, Arkansas with her family beside her.

Ruthie married the love of her life Clifford "Tip" Tipken on September 15, 1957. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. She loved going to all their activities and sporting events. Ruthie liked going on trips and was always ready to go when someone ask her. She loved getting all dressed up on Sunday mornings and picking out one of her hats and heading off to church. Everyone always waited for her to read one of her poems.
Before her retirement she worked as a Nurse Aid at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma on the labor and delivery floor, she loved her job and was very good at it.
She is survived by four children: Debbie Hammond and husband Joe, Ruth Ann Eckhardt, Sonny Tipken and wife Arlena, Polly Turley; nine Grandkids, fifteen Great Grandkids, one Great Great Grandchild, three Sisters, three Brothers and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other Family members and Friends..
Ruthie's husband, parents, and many other relatives were there waiting on her with open arms at the Pearly Gates of Heaven.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 at the First Assembly of God in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma with Pastor Kenneth Byrd officiating. There will be lunch served at the church before the service. Interment will follow in the Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Pallbearers for the service are Danny Rosson, Sean Moore, Mark Shamblin, Jim Taylor, Jeff Forbes.
