Born June 29th 1961 in Porum, Oklahoma to Joyce Annalee Barnett (Fools). He passed from this life on August 9th, 2019 having reached the age of 58. Rickey (Pa Bear) married Sheri Lyn Sayler (Ma Bear) on the 27th day of January in 2004 in Stone County, Missouri the love of his life and surviving spouse.
In his youth he enjoyed his cars, hunting for arrowheads, working with grandpa, martial arts and his time in the service as a Medic. He enlisted in the Army right out of high school in 1979, trained as a Medical Specialist, receiving honors and awards for service including Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Lapel Button, M-16 Rifle Marksman and Hand Grenade Sharpshooter. He was proud to serve his country for 6 years, he enjoyed the places he was stationed during his service and learning about the Japanese, Korean and Hawaiian cultures he experienced. He was a brilliant well-read historian of many ancient cultures around the world as well as the native cultures of the Americas. He loved his family very much he leaves behind his mother Joyce Fools of Porum, two brothers James and Richard Potts of Porum, step brother Donnie Fools of Porum, two step sisters Debbie Kuntz and Kathy Dopp, uncle David and aunt Vicky Barnett of Muskogee, aunt Linda Coleman, niece Miranda Annalee Potts and nephew Richard Potts Jr. of Porum, his wife Sheri Potts of Muskogee, and two stepsons Bradley and Thomas Meyer of Muskogee, two grandchildren Lynx and Ezekiel Meyer of Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his step father Bill Fools, his step brothers Mike Fools, Billy Fools and Danny Fools.
