Obituary for Taylor Eugene Beaver III

Print
Taylor Eugene Beaver III, age 60, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away December 26, 2018 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was born March 7, 1958 to Taylor and Geneva (Stroup) Beaver in Wichita, Kansas.
Taylor was a man who loved his family and his greatest joy in life was watching his children and grandchildren. Although he said he was a man of few words, he loved to share stories of hunting, fishing, maple syruping, smoking meat, and his most recent projects. But most importantly, he loved to share the latest stories of his grandchildren and was known for his giant bear hugs.
To say he was a jack of all trades would be an understatement. Taylor lived his life helping those around him in any way he could. He was blessed with the gift of seeing others needs and instinctively knowing how he could help. This gift is what made his calling to be a dedicated nurse at the VA Hospital very apparent to him and those around him. As a veteran himself, he was very passionate about being able to help his fellow veterans.
Taylor is survived by his wife Christi Beaver; daughters, Josie (George) Villarreal of Edgerton, WI and Molly (Ben) Wenninger of Watertown, WI; his 6 grandkids who adored him; his sisters, Myrna (Richard) Dixon of Morris, OK and Rainey (Ron) Dean of Muskogee, OK.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Stroup of Sallisaw, OK; his father, Taylor Eugene Beaver II of Stilwell, OK; and his sister, Brenda Boyer of Muskogee, OK.
The Beaver family has planned a memorial service at Oasis Community Church, 800 Peak Blvd., Muskogee, OK at 2 PM on January 12, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Barracks Veteran Resource Group, at 4717 W. Okmulgee, Muskogee, OK 74401, or on Facebook, search "The Barracks, non-profit organization". The Barracks is an organization that assists to meet the needs of local veterans. Thank you, Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home, for assisting with the memorial.
