Brian Edward Salcido made his debut Dec 23rd 1978 in Corpus Christi Texas much to the delight of his father Manny Salcido, and mother Delores Salcido. He was born with a love for music in his blood. His favorites ranging from Def Leppard to The Beatles.
He made his final curtain call Dec 13th much to the disbelief and dismay of his many fans. He was 39 years old.
He joined his aunt Elia Rodriguez, grandmother Maria Estella and grandfather Manuel Salcido Sr. on his father’s side, and his grandmother Trinidad De Los Santos, and grandfather David De Los Santos on his mother’s side for his fair well tour.
He was an essential part, and huge supporter of the downtown Tulsa music scene. His love of the spot light was captured threw his vivid and beautiful photography.
His ride or die lil buddy Carlito chose to make this final journey with Brian as well. Having been together 15 years they were truly an inseparable pair.
His family is devastated at his sudden loss. Brian was a light hearted, positive person who always lifted everyone's spirits. The stage shines a little darker without his presents, but as he would say "The Show Must Go On." He will be forever remembered as the Rock Star Legend who brought light into so many lives.
He left behind his many fans, hundreds of friends, and a few lucky enough to call him family. Father- Manny Salcido, and Mother-Jana Salcido of Fort Gibson, OK, Brother-Kenny Salcido, His Wife- Prairie Salcido, and Their Daughter Trinidad Salcido of Muskogee, OK. Sister-Toni Boggs and Her Husband- Blain Boggs of Rockhill SC, Mother-Linda Pruitt of Rockhill SC, Brother-Travis Nunez of Corpus Christi TX, Sister-Sage Stout of Tulsa, OK, and Brother-Blake Freeman of Tulsa, OK.
Uncles and Aunts: Santos and Laly Soto of Gregory, TX. Estella Canalas of Claremore, ok. Eddie and Kim Salcido of Claremore, Ok. Ernest and Tammy Salcido of Claremore, ok. Frank Rodriguez of Claremore, OK. 4 nieces and 2 nephews, and numerous cousins.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday December 21, 2018 at the Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson. Interment will follow in the Citizens Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Viewing will be Thursday from 12-7pm at the funeral home.

I am at a loss for words. I pray that the family of Brian can find peace, and comfort in such a time of his passing. He showed lots of love to my Touring band passing through Tulsa aka T-Town. He will be truly missed, and never forgotten!

Salcido family and friends, I am truly sorry for you the loss of a truly wonderful big hearted man. I worked with him at Connexions Loyalty and he sat right across from me. I loved hearing his unique voice and seeing his beautiful smile everyday. He was a pleasure and a joy to work with. Sending prayers for peace and comfort May the Lord wrap his arms around your entire family. God Bless. Shannon Wilson
