Obituary for Max Langton



Max Leon Langton, 81, of Muskogee, OK, was born May 5, 1936 at Muskogee, OK, the son of Jack and Ethel (Cooper) Langton and died Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Muskogee.

Max was a lifelong resident of the area and member of Central Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1958 to 1960. Prior to retirement, Max worked as an auto mechanic. He was proud to be a resident of the city of Muskogee. Pastimes included watching NASCAR racing.

Survivors include his great-niece, Lacey McCain of Okay; numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Freda in 2000; sisters, Delvia Cavalier, Polly Rodgers, and Norma McGrew; brothers, Harold Langton and J. D. Langton.
