Obituary for Vevelena "Tiny" Little

Vevelena "Tiny" Little
Vevelena “Tiny” Little, 64, of Fort Gibson, OK, was born August 1, 1953 at Fort Gibson, OK, the daughter of Charlie and Evelena (Gillispie) White and died at her home in Fort Gibson on Monday, August 28, 2017.

Vevelena graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1971 and later earned her associates degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College. She had previously worked at Johnson’s Food Meat Market in Muskogee. She enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and taking care of her little dog, Gypsy.

Survivors include her children, Stephanie Wilson and Brad of Kinta, Michael Courtney and Jeanie of Muskogee, Lacie Roberts and Rodney of Fort Gibson; grandchildren, Emily Hamm, Kailey Courtney, Braden Roberts, Hollie Courtney, Samuel Courtney, and Isabelle Courtney; great-grandchild, Brinley Holland; siblings, Rickie White, Roger White, Carol Huber, Barbara Baskins, and Tammy Ballard. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A special thank you to her care giver, Brenda Fullwood.

A memorial service for Vevelena will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with Pastor James McCracken officiating.
